Your first visit.
Any first visit to a Chiropractic Clinic can be a little daunting but you can be assured that you will be immediately put at ease with our friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
We will ask you to fill in a questionnaire regarding your current problem and any other problems you may have had in the past i.e car accidents.
Following the Consultation the Chiropractor will perform a full examination to obtain a Chiropractic Diagnosis of your problem.
He will perform a spinal examination to see how much movement you have in your spine and then move on to perform the Orthopeadic/ Neurological examination which will give the Chiropractor a better understanding of your particular problem.
After the examination the Chiropractor will fully explain your problem to you. This is usually done with a skeleton/spinal model. He will also be able to give you an idea of how many sessions will be necessary to treat your problem
The Chiropractor will then start the treatment. This will include a warm up before the adjustments take place. Chiropractors often use massage/ tens machines to help with relaxing tight muscles before adjusting. Adjustments are done by hand and involve putting a small and specific movement into the joint to improve the movement. These adjustments are well tolerated by patients as the Chiropractor is very skilled in this procedure.
